CWA District 4/YP 2013 Bargaining Highlights


 3 ½ year contract


Clerical Wage increase of 2.5% in 2013 and 2% in 2014 & 2015


New Sales Compensation plan – pays significant increases on account by account basis, includes monthly commissions based on annualized total return


Emphasis placed on retention of current advertiser base


Elimination of Account Representative title in both Premise and Telephone


10 month Transition pay added to base wages for all current Reps and New Hires


Enhanced base wages at all service levels for Telephone and Premise


One rate paid on NISD, no longer Renewal and Advertiser Increase


New Commute Mileage reimbursement for travel over 35 miles one way for Premise


IRS rate mileage reimbursement for all employees not on fixed auto allowance


$10 retention reward for Telephone Reps on accounts with BOTS that retire with NISD


Gained guarantee Company will pay 80% of Monthly Commission target


Added commission rate for renewal for New Media reps


Eliminate Non-Pay Chargebacks for Premise reps


Retiree Medical for anyone who meets the modified role of 75 and retires by August 11, 2013


Shift to a Consumer Driven Health plan


Company funded HSAs each year of contract accessible with a debit card. Funds go with employee at termination of employment


Added Seniority Date language to honor Ameritech, SBC and AT&T service


Pension accrual until August 11, 2013


Kept Lump Sum option on Pension


“Grandfathered” current employees on current payment schedule for Term Pay


Expanded Cell Phone allowance eligibility to use of non-AT&T carriers


Maintained Force Adjustments by seniority rather than by performance


Maintained 401(K) match


Maintained current vacation levels


 Added three new Holidays – Martin Luther King ,President’s day and Christmas Eve, no longer get Good Friday


Obtained enhanced benefits for non-sales employees displaced by outsourcing additional 25% of term pay four (4) months medical from first day of month following the month employee leaves payroll
