At the Metro Detroit AFL-CIO Annual Labor Day Mobilization Luncheon the Southeastern Michigan United Way sponsored the Bernie Firestone Labor Volunteer Award.  Our own CWA Local 4100 Northeast Switching Executive Board Member Yvette Austin won the award for her outstanding community Service involvement and for her generosity ……doing good in the neighborhood.
